I just love these batik fabrics, this basket will add a wonderful accent to your home decor!
I hand wrapped these wonderful batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make it sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with a little fray to add texture. All of these lovely batik fabrics are high quality and 100% cotton and all show on the inside of this pretty basket too! The pretty flowers on the basket are included for a nice accent. Please see the picture with the pen and ruler to help gauge the basket size.

These beautiful batik fabrics are hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous and unique.
