1 Artisan Batik Necklace Measures:
180" total, 2 separate loops 90" long each,
to make 4-8 Strands! Each strand= 0.25"wide
I hand wrapped this lovely batik fabric around cotton line, which I then machine quilted each strand with a decorative stitch. I used the raw edge technique with some fray for a lovely shabby chic texture. I added a pretty glazed bamboo button for a lovely accent! There are 2 separate infinity loops, please see pictures. Use one to make a lovely choker or bracelet or cuff. Twist them! Knot them!
The clothesline varies in width and has some inner coil twist, so these strands are not straight or even, but that is why I love it, each is unique. The decorative stitch flattens the strand slightly, which is great, so you can see the fabric and stitches. The necklace is flexible, and can be twisted into many strands for a cuff/bracelet too. Or shorter strands for a different fashion statement every time you wear it.
