My lovely rope baskets are very sturdy and

My handmade rope baskets allow some dough moisture to evaporate during proofing.
This allows for easier dough scoring for the bread to open during baking.
It also gives your sourdough bread a little thicker crust. YUM!
My husband bakes all sorts of breads using the baskets I made for him.
He generously flours the basket, but if a little bit sticks, he just washes with water.
He uses this size basket for small and medium round loaf pans.
I love the smell of baking bread! YUM!
