I hand wrapped these wonderful batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make it sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with some fray to add texture. All of these lovely batik fabrics are high quality and 100% cotton and all show on the inside of this lovely basket too!

These beautiful batik fabrics are hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous and unique.
I designed and created this unique basket in my smoke-free home studio.
