I hand wrapped these beautiful blue batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make it sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with a little fray. These gorgeous batik fabrics show on the inside of this lovely basket too!. I used 6 different batik blues to make this unique ombre pattern.
One of a Kind! Makes a great gift!
These lovely batik fabrics were hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous and unique.
