Gorgeous Batik Fabric Basket!
Artisan Quilted Tote Bag Measures:
9"High, 16"L X 8"W top
and 10"L X 5"W base.
I hand wrapped these wonderful batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make it sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with some fray. The pretty flower on the basket is included for a nice accent. All of these lovely fabrics are high quality quilting fabrics and are 100% cotton! Great contrast!
I just love these beautiful batik fabrics, they all show on the inside of the basket too! Please see the picture with the magazine to help gauge the size of this lovely basket. These batik fabrics are hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous and unique.
