Artisan Batik Basket Measures: 5"High, and 11.5"diameter top.
I hand wrapped these rich tropical batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make it sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with a little fray. There are 8 different batiks and all are high quality quilting fabrics. I just love these Caribbean colored batik fabrics, all are 100% cotton and show on the inside of the basket too! Please see the picture with the pen to help gauge the size of this lovely basket. Flower buds/pen props not included.

All of these batiks are from a gorgeous Hoffman Bali Pops collection. These batik fabrics are hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous and unique. I love the contrasts!
