Cute Purple Candy Bowl!

I hand wrapped these rich purple fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make the basket sturdy.  I used the raw edge technique with a little fray to give it a lovely shabby chic texture. The cute flower on the basket is included for a nice accent.

Both fabrics are 100% cotton and show on the inside of the basket too!

This is a beautiful white bowl; the gorgeous pink highlights throughout are eye-catching. I love the three pink hearts added for decoration. Both of the bowls I purchased will be on my desk at school throughout February; just perfect! :)
