I created this cute cat basket for my daughter.  

She loves the pink buttons.

She keeps all her hairties and hairbrush in it.

The black cat basket is my prototype.  

I coiled natural clothesline into the basket shape and machine zig zag sewed it together to make it sturdy.  I added a couple of cute black buttons for the eyes.  The tail is so much fun.  I wrapped fabric around the rope for the tail to give it a unique look.  I used a black marker for the whiskers and mouth.  I think I will use ribbon next time, so it has some shine.

I will have to make another one for my shop.  

I love trying different shapes and sizes.  

I will try a taller size next.
